Living Water Community Fellowship
Home      About us

   ... a little about us:
Living Water Community Fellowship (LWCF) was established in January 2008.  It emerged after a group of brothers and sisters from First Chinese Baptist Church, Walnut (FCBC, Walnut) sensed the burden and need to reach out to English speaking, young families in the West San Gabriel Valley.  LWCF meets on Friday evenings at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church.  A typical Friday evening includes: worship through singspiration, prayer, and ministering of the Word of God by message, Bible study, or sharing.  The fifth Friday is reserved for applying God’s Word and reaching out, through Family Fun night.  The children have their own ministry with Bible study and activities through Cornerstone Club for the youth, Hop Koi for the children, and Preschool/Nursery for the very young.  A LWCF trademark is refreshments at the end of the evening that draws everyone to a time of fellowship and mingling.  Prayer meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at a designated home, and planning meetings are held quarterly.

There are a variety of activities such as: Summer Basketball outreach ministry, Family Camp retreat, and Fall Festival.  A new activity started this past summer has been: Fitness Wellness walks on Saturday mornings.  Other potential activities in consideration are children’s orchestra, Bible Sword drill, and children socials.    It is the desire for this ministry to eventually have Sunday worship services with Friday evenings reserved for fellowship meetings.
